Carrie is originally from Missoula Montana and has been in the pet care industry for over 20 years. Her experience includes working in and managing kennels, pet stores and grooming shops. She taught weekly dog training classes at PetCo for over a year and conducted personal in home dog training for many years. She recently became a First Aid & CPR instructor and is a graduate of SDSU in liberal studies and child development. Carrie knows she is destined to teach, work with and care for animals. She has 3 pups of her own, Rukus (he earned that name) is a 14 year old yellow Labrador, Jenna (sweet but noisy) is a 9 year old Border Collie and Monkey (the baby) is a 4 year old Boxer.

nikki dunnan :: office manager

Nikki joined the See Spot Sit team 5+ years ago specializing in overnight pet care and became the Office Manager in February 2011. She moved to San Diego in 1993 from her hometown of Colorado Springs and received a bachelor's degree in psychology from UC San Diego. She is also a professional dancer who feels most at home on stage. In December 2009 she rescued her canine soul mate, Nijinksy (yep, named after a dancer), from the county shelter and changed both their lives for the better. Nikki and Nijinsky reside in North Park.

Our team is carefully chosen and trained with the safety of your pet and home in mind. After an extensive interview process, each potential walker/sitter trains for a minimum of 2 weeks with an experienced dog handler. With a certified Pet First Aid and CPR instructor and a dog trainer on staff, our team is knowledgeable and confident in any circumstance that may arise. All of our sitters/walkers are covered under our liability insurance and bonding, so you can have peace of mind as we enter your home and care for your pet(s).
